A historical view on Windows
Windows environment history is dotted with a number of successes and an equal number of failures. Windows emerged as a little more than a switched environment and processes. The initial release in 1985, version 1.0 was less than desirable and, in general, its reception by industry specialist was frankly rather daunting. There were many problems with the original edition of the environment. Many of these problems were caused by hardware available at the time. Intel low power graphics cards with low resolution, lack of memory and lack of computer mouse did personally hostile computer graphics. However, one of the biggest obstacles was even user. Users first computers were people who understood the technical studies of software and hardware design. This user procedures and orders difficult to understand. But, as computer power has become available to a wider audience, users have looked for ways of easing of access to applications. Apple Macintosh, introduced in 1984 was the first successful product-oriented business, which provided a natural interface computer based images. Windows 2.x: This version of Windows offered a sum of applications of text and nothing more. In fact, it did not offer much more than a menu system. This was due partly related to memory restrictions and lack of power of the microprocessor 8086. However, he managed to make it easier to use the OS DOS and gave him the opportunity to launch more user works simultaneously as many as could fit in available memory. Windows 2.0 was a small step, but important, compared to DOS operating system.
Then Microsoft released another version of Windows. Version 3.1 gives users even more, but this version was separated from version 3.0 through its details hidden. It disappeared error UAE (irrecoverable error of application) of the Track since version Microsoft added methods for validating applications for the system. Microsoft decided also to provide an environment of total memory for advanced Windows 3.1. Once Windows for Workgroups appeared on stage, users of Windows 3,1 wanted to benefit from solving those problems. Microsoft offered windows users a free upgrade disc and replaced unsold copies of Windows 3.1 environment with the new improved version In this release have not modified any feature set and have not made other technical changes. Basically, Windows 3.11 is for Workgroups, but without a network connection. With the possibility to choose between these environments, and increase your ability to interact with the program you are using. Now many games on CDs and evolved products allow you to choose which path to follow through the program. Every time you use multimedia product, you can choose different routes: maybe you want to track a piece of film, instead of simply read text on the screen or to look at a simple chart.
In 1992, when Microsoft introduced Video for Windows, standard display videos was totally inadequate. The display is on 1/16 the size of a VGA screen 120 pixels or 160 pixels. After inclusion in the updated version of Windows 95 software for Windows and the emergence Video on PC performance at relatively low prices, videos can occur per entire screen (full screen) or on 480 640 pexili pexili.
